Social Hour plus Showcase and Guest Artist Displays
Info: Join us for cookies, non alcoholic beverages, and a chance for an up close view of garments in the show, our collection of handwoven items, and creations of our Guest Artist Scharine Kirchoff. Scharine is a weaver, spinner, and dyer, continuing three generations of Ryukyu textile artistry in her family. The showcase will debut a kimono created by a study group led by Scharine and sewn by her 90-year-old mother.
