Thorn Wych makes instruments from tree branches in her backyard workshop, with which plays semi improvised devotional
freak-folk, and she sings in tongues. This is all fed through a chain of lofi effects machines, creating atavistic hymns and hypnotic dances.
For this tour she will be bringing her new Yew tree (If Arbre) instrument series. The Yew tree symbolises renewal, rebirth and everlasting life; and with these she will usher in the new year and sing praise to Asherah the Eternal Mother of All.
Thorn Wych's debut album "Aesthesis" was released on the label Hoodfaire in November 2024.

Songs of the Dniepr est un duo lillois formé par Alex Ann (voix, shruti box, vieloncelle, percussions) – connue notamment pour ses projets Drive with a Dead Girl et Yirmi June – et Ivann Cruz (guitare électrique) – musicien actif au sein de Toc, Otto, Aphar’s Cave, et de nombreux projets du collectif Muzzix. Ils cultivent une approche sonore qui puise dans le langage de la transe et du rituel, en explorant les puissances vibratoires de la voix et de la matière sonore. À travers une voix incantatoire et introspective, des drones acoustiques et une guitare sculptant des textures harmoniques et des riffs obsessionnels, le duo tisse un folklore imaginaire où se croisent chansons, comptine hypnotique ou les mots de la poétesse féministe Adrienne Rich.
