This Way Orkestra leads the night as both band and spirit guides for the audience through a high-energy journey of Afrobeat, Ethio-Jazz jazz, reggae, ska and circus madness, with the dancefloor becoming part of the performance.

💃 Orfeevi Ritmi – a special Balkan music and dance performance sharing rich folk traditions through hypnotic rhythms, layered vocals and dynamic group dances.
🥁 Raio De Sol – a Canberra-based powerhouse bringing the thunder of Brazilian samba, with driving percussion, call-and-response vocals and infectious grooves that ignite collective joy.
From Latin street samba and Chinese percussion to Balkan dance, circus spectacle and heavy dancefloor energy, this is a one-night-only collision of cultures — immersive, joyful, and impossible to stand still at.

This Way Orkestra is a Canberra-based Afrobeat infused collective bringing together sharp brass, deep rhythm, and big community energy. Blending afrobeat, jazz, reggae, ska, and dub, the band creates high-energy, groove-driven music designed as much for dancing as it is for listening — music with joy, movement, and meaning at its core.
CLOCKWORK CIRCUS
Clockwork Circus is a Canberra-based, family-run circus-theatre troupe known for their steampunk-themed, interactive performances. Specialising in high-skill, roving acts like acrobatics, juggling, balance, and aerial, they cater to all ages at community events. For this special one-night-only performance they will be joined live by This Way Orkestra, who will perform the soundtrack in real time.
CHINESE LIOIN DANCE
Chinese Lion Dance, presented by Moon Bear Kung Fu, is a vibrant traditional performance combining dynamic movement, live percussion and striking lion costumes. Rooted in Chinese martial arts, the dance is performed to the driving rhythms of drums, cymbals and gongs, showcasing strength, agility and expressive character.
ORFEEVI RITMI
Orfeevi Ritmi is a Canberra group consisting of singer Dessi Gancheva and accordionist Alister Price. They perform Bulgarian folk songs, characterised by wild rhythms, exotic melodies and bold singing, blending ancient traditions with modern musical idioms.
For this performance they will be hosting a interactive dance session, sharing rich folk traditions from the Balkans through hypnotic rhythms, layered vocals and dynamic group dances that invite the audience into centuries-old celebrations.
RAIO DE SOL
Raio De Sol Community Samba Band is a Canberra-based percussion ensemble bringing the power and joy of Brazilian samba to the streets and stage. With thunderous drums, infectious rhythms and collective energy, Raio De Sol transform rhythm into celebration. For this special event, they will collaborate with This Way Orkestra, adding a unique rhythmic layer and an unrepeatable cross-cultural energy to the night.
