About this Event
Join us for Britten's A Ceremony of Carols - one of the most radiant works for voices and harp
A feast of music for the extended season of Christmas, which finishes on 2 February, when the church celebrates the Feast of Candlemas. The divine female voices of the Ulster Consort illuminate the darkness of winter with light-filled music, surrounded by candlelight, in the beautiful space of St Colmcilleโs Church. The programme is framed by two works by Benjamin Britten, including one of the most radiant works for voices and harp,
A Ceremony of Carols, written in 1942.
