What is a Junk Journal anyway? It’s not a scrapbook or photo album.
You don’t buy new supplies.
You focus on giving life to old paper, fabric, discarded items, mementos, and found items.
Making a junk journal is like writing a diary but with junk.
It’s using the stuff/everyday items that have no use, take up space and are
no longer functional (old ticket stubs, stamped mail, leaves, flowers, receipts).
Things that are bits & pieces that are too hard to part with,
have sentimental value but you don’t know what to do with them.
So… grab all those bits you have tucked away.
Or… maybe see what you collect from the time you sign up for the class
until you come to the class and bring those things.
Let’s take those bits and pieces of everyday life and transform them into something beautiful and meaningful.
Let’s have an in the moment process, embrace imperfection and find beauty in the discarded.
Your $35 ticket includes:
-A journal & pen
-Adhesive pocket (to hold all that you are collecting)
-Some bits & pieces to layer and embellish your junk 😊
-A glass of wine (or other beverage) & Charcuterie cup*
*(beverages & charcuterie provided by Milkweed Provisions)
**Refunds honored through 1/14, after that a credit for another class/event is available.
