In honor of Black History Month, WeRise is proud to welcome La’Rissa Dwyer, owner of On Blended Knee Winery (OBK), and her husband, the head winemaker Michael Dwyer. Together La’Rissa and Michael have built OBK from a deeply personal journey rooted in love, resilience, and community. Their thoughtfully crafted wines are expressive, approachable, and meant to be enjoyed without pretense . OBK is more than wine—it’s a celebration of Black ownership, storytelling, and the joy of blending together over something meaningful.
