Monthly Poetry Open Mic Third Wednesday of the Month at Tap Yard Raleigh 1610 Automotive Way in Raleigh NC in the Tavern Room. Look for the room with the comfy sofas.
Sign Up at 6:30 and Reading begins at 7. Bring 3 poems or 5 minutes of Prose or Spoken Word. We can handle acoustic guitar and there is a piano in the room. If there's time we might make a second round. Look for live feed of the event on Facebook.
Full-service bar and generally a food truck (check their website).
Parking is free on the street or in designated lots follow signs.
Event is free. Donations are always welcome.
Freshly Brewed Poems is a safe space for poets new to open mic or if you have done it a million times. Let us know what you need to make you comfortable and creative.
