We’re kicking off something brand new at My New Favorite Thing — our Third Wednesday Makers Circle, a relaxed daytime gathering for creative minds who love to make beautiful things.
For our very first project, we’ll create this radiant Textured Sunburst Canvas that looks like it’s glowing with warmth. Using special tools and raised design techniques, you’ll build the dimensional rays and center of the sun before adding vibrant blended color that brings the whole piece to life.
The result? A stunning textured art piece that catches the light and looks amazing displayed on a shelf, easel, or wall.
But the best part of this new group isn’t just the project — it’s the community of makers. During class we’ll also chat about ideas, themes, and suggestions for next month’s project so the group can help shape what we create together.
Think of it as two hours of creativity, laughter, and inspiration with other ladies who love to make.
Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just looking for a fun creative escape, this is the perfect way to spend a Wednesday morning.

Your workshop registration does not include admission to the Canterbury event itself. If you would like to stay and enjoy the rest of the village after your class, simply visit the front gate to purchase admission for the day.
