Enjoy a selection of wine, cheese, and appetizers while exploring the fascinating lives of First Ladies who were also educators, including Abigail Fillmore, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Laura Bush. This month’s exclusive, curator-led program includes a behind-the-scenes look at the “Leaders in Literacy: First Ladies as Teachers, Educators, and Librarians” exhibit, showcasing the educational legacies of over a dozen First Ladies and their enduring impact on American literacy.
