Join us on August 17th for a scenic hike through the captivating Gatineau Park. Your adventure begins with a bus ride departing from T's Pub at 10:00 AM sharp. We'll head to the beautiful Lac Philippe, where our hiking journey starts.
Hike Details:
🌲 Trail: We'll embark on a scenic loop near Lac Philippe.
📏 Distance: 8.75 km
⛰️ Elevation Gain: Approximately 225 m, providing a satisfying challenge manageable for all experience levels.
⏱️ Duration: The hike should take around 2 hours to complete.
👀 Lookout Points: Enjoy breathtaking views of Lusk Lake and Lac Philippe from multiple scenic lookouts.
Post-Hike Picnic:
After completing the trail, we'll gather at Plage Parent by Lac Philippe to rest and refuel. A delicious picnic with sandwiches from La Bottega and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, offering the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow hikers and share experiences.
Event Conclusion:
Our event will wrap up around 2:30 PM when the bus will take us back to T's Pub in Ottawa. Upon returning, you are invited to join us for some drinks.
