We cordially invite you to submit a proposal for the third annual Northeast Regional Psychology (NERP) Conference: Trends in the Training Field which will be held on Friday, April 10th at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA. Proposals for the conference should be aligned with trends in the field and the future of training in psychology. We are seeking a well-rounded series of topics with professionals across all stages of career development, including those currently in training, represented.
The theme for the 2026 NERP Conference is focused on training and psychology across the different stages of life. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
· Navigating generational differences within the field
· Exposure to different career paths
· Supervision, training, and/or clinical intervention across the lifespan (e.g., childhood, emerging adulthood, older adulthood, etc.)
· Utilizing AI and technology across different stages of career
· Navigating divisiveness in clinical practice, training, and/or supervision
As we continually prepare to train future psychologists, the NERP Conference remains dedicated to facilitating access, fostering development, and supporting the implementation of high-quality education and training. Toward this end, we will continue to prioritize trends in the training field which are based on the principles of established science, social justice, a culture of inclusivity, fairness, and respect for all individuals.

Proposals will be accepted until Friday, 12/01/2025, with notifications about proposal statuses being provided by Friday, 01/16/2026. To provide opportunities to as many presenters as possible, presenters that are listed on multiple proposals will have at most one proposal accepted.
