Join us for an intimate discussion guided by prompts from Dr. Ece Tekbulut. We’ll explore both sides, its strengths and its drawbacks, through questions and shared reflection. The evening will be accompanied by passion-themed desserts by Nun Left’s Jane Brendlinger.

About Dr. Ece Tekbulut
Ece Tekbulut is a political theorist and cultural entrepreneur based in New York. She earned her PhD from Columbia University in 2025, where she has spent over seven years teaching ethics, and political philosophy.
Through Thinking Through Social Club, she brings these themes into an intimate, salon-style setting, creating space for people to pause, reflect, and practice meaningful conversation together.
About Jane Brendlinger:
Jane is an NYC Pastry Chef and Food Writer. After years working in kitchens such as Gramercy Tavern, Blue Hill Stone Barns, Le Bernardin, and Per Se, she is now working as a private chef and creating ice cream under her brand Nun Left. She has been published multiple times in Food and Wine, writing about the restaurant industry from an insider’s perspective.
