About this Event
Writing in English, Thinking in Many is a panel discussion exploring the experience of writing in English as an additional language (EAL).
Bringing together researchers and creatives from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, this session creates a reflective and supportive space to discuss both the challenges and possibilities of writing across languages. Panellists will share lived experiences, practical strategies, and approaches to navigating academic and creative writing in English, while maintaining confidence and a strong sense of identity and belonging.
The event will include a 45-minute panel discussion followed by a 15-minute audience Q&A, offering attendees the opportunity to engage, ask questions, and reflect on their own writing practices.
