About this Event
Join and at in Miami Beach on Saturday, March 21, 2-5pm for our collaborative Things Swap!
Share and connect with others while letting go of those things you have been holding onto. Discover treasures for your own use and keep them out of a landfill.
Bring no more than 10 gently used items (no clothes) - things that are clean, functional, and ready for a new home! You can also come without things to swap and make a Pay What You Value tax deductible donation to The Things Lab for things you take home.
Be kind, respect everyone’s finds, and enjoy the good vibes!
Any leftover items will be donated to The Things Lab. You are also welcome to take your unclaimed donations home with you. That way, nothing goes to waste!
While at Oolite Arts, go upstairs to check out Crossing the Bridge, an exhibition that investigates the concept of being an alumnus of an arts institution through the work of five artists who delve into their own experiences and share their artistic practices, both as quiet expansions and defiant departures—to help inform its meaning. Curated by Claire Breukel and Lauryn Lawrence, the exhibition features Edouard Duval-Carrié, Kerry Phillips (co-creator, The Things Lab), Najja Moon, Susan Lee-Chun, and Yanira Collado.
