Denise Bennett, an award-winning local poet with an MA in Creative Writing (Poetry), has published four collections, including Things I Have Kept (Cinnamon Press). A qualified adult education tutor, she has led community writing workshops for 35 years.
In this session, you’ll explore how cherished objects and their memories can inspire your writing. By the end, you’ll have notes and ideas to develop your work. Open to all levels—bring a notebook, pen, and a meaningful item (jewellery, clothing, letter, photo, etc.). Denise will conclude by reading from Things I Have Kept.
