Come and join us for fun night of Alt Folk, Post Punk Synth Pop & Americana, performed by a bunch of passionate musicians, who wouldn’t rather be anywhere else on a Saturday night than playing for you, drinking beers, and eating the best hand stretched pizza in town.THESE IDLE HANDS:
Gold Coast Hinterland based These Idle Hands are an elusive kind of sonic event, their acoustic balladry & harrowingly intimate lyricism combine to craft often hauntingly powerful Dark folk & Americana.
Over their five years together, the band have graced numerous stages, and street events including, Ground Water Festival, Festival Of Small Halls & Higher Ground Festival, not to mention many other regional halls & venues.
TIH have received high praise & air play, both here & overseas for their three album release’s, Petrichor & Meraki, and their latest eponymously titled third album.
These Idle Hands will pull you in and hold you close like a warm, familiar embrace.

SARAH STOCKHOLM
Sarah Stockholm fuses together 70s and 80s post-punk and synth-pop with moody atmospherics to create dark and danceable electronica.
Performing in rare duo mode Stockholm will lay bare her songs, scratching at the soft underbelly of deeply personal lyrics - sharp angles and cool lushness giving way to sparse, haunting arrangements and Sarah’s arresting vocals.
Stockholm has played sold out shows at Brisbane Powerhouse,Queensland Cabaret Festival and Spark Festival and shared the stage with numerous indie-icons including Screamfeederand Ben Ely (Regurgitator). Her 2023 album Trace of Humanity received wide acclaim spending four weeks in the charts of 4ZZZ Radio and regular airplay on 3RRR in Melbourne.
TIN STAR
Tin Star are a Brisbane-based trio who’ve spent years carving out a sound that
refuses to be pigeon-holed - part folk, part rock, part Americana – but always
unmistakeably ther own. At the heart of it are their original songs: rich stories, laced
with humour and delivered with genuine grit and warmth.
They have soaring vocals and 3-part harmonies to rival the Von Trapps, a one man
rhythm section, one of the best fiddle players you’ll ever hear, and a passable egg
shaker. A few other unexpected instruments including banjo, accordion and trumpet
completes the eclectic magic.
Chances are you’ve caught them around Brisbane and beyond at the folk clubs and
festivals. If not, their 2019 album A Better Way To Do Things offers a taste – but
their 2025 live release captures the raw energy of a live performance and is
completely captivating.
