Houses & Homes Trail – Follow the clues which will lead you round our historic houses on a journey of discovery.
I spy in The Gridshell – Use your detective skills to spot house related artefacts in our collections store (Monday to Friday).
Folklore Storytelling with Dawn Nelson – Get cosy by the fire in Walderton and let Dawn transport you to other worlds though the magic of folklore and fairy tales. (Monday 17 and Friday 21).

Have a go!– Try your hand at rag rugging and candle making on selected days and times throughout the week (find out more on arrival at the Museum).
Victorian School lesson -Take part in a frightfully strict Victorian school experience to brush up on your three R’s! Remember, children must be seen and not heard!
Wattle and Daub Activity – Ever wondered how some of our houses were built and the materials that were used? Wattle and daub has been used to build houses for at least 6,000 years and we still use this technique at the museum today. Come along to a wattle and daub activity session to learn more about it and even have a go yourself!
Nature Bags – Borrow a nature bag filled with all sorts of treasures and set off on your own free-range adventure with your family. How many of the nature challenges within the bag can you complete?
