He grew up in Nigeria amidst the 80s and 90s, and experienced a culture deeply rooted in religious teachings but largely neglectful of mental health. He was raised in a loving yet dysfunctional family, and came to accept emotional dysregulation as normal, often confusing suffering with strength. His journey through domestic abuse in the U.S. and eventual therapeutic intervention led to his profound self-discovery and healing.
