Theis Coermann - “Ephemeral”Theis Coermann is a young drummer and composer who, on this evening, will present original music from his upcoming debut album Ephemeral, recorded earlier this May.
The music draws strong inspiration from the contemporary American jazz scene and artists such as Immanuel Wilkins and Ambrose Akinmusire.
The compositions move between the intense and the introspective, with a focus on strong melodies, texture, and improvisation.
This concert will likely be the only opportunity to experience the music from the album live before its release this winter.
