In this workshop, we will learn basic skills to better understand the art of theatre and movement. We will explore our relationship with our own bodies and how to use them to become better actors. We`ll work on dialogue delivery, movement, and presence. We will also learn how to incorporate these skills into our everyday lives—carrying forward our learning to become more confident, socially conscious, and self-aware individuals. This workshop is open to both beginners and practicing artists. As a beginner, it will help you become more confident, articulate, and connected. You’ll leave with a new skill and a deeper understanding of your body, mind, and soul. As a practicing artist, you`ll leave with tools to help you grow as a performer. You will explore the connection between the physical, emotional, and vocal aspects of performance through movement, theatre, and voice. For those who have joined us before, we will continue to deepen our exploration of the use of the body in theatre. P.S. Please wear comfortable clothing.
