About this Event
Join us for Theatre Diaspora's third annual Ten Minute Tapestry reading, a collection of four short plays by local AANHPI playwrights presented after Artists Repertory's performance of Racecar Racecar Racecar. Interwoven, the pieces explore themes of family, memory, and surrealism--with an AANHPI twist!
Entry is free for ticketholders--two shows in one! Or, you can book a seprate ticket to attend the Ten Minute Tapestry on its own.
Featuring the plays: "The Hard Man" by Don Ching Hew, "Family Recipe" by Greta Lau, "NO GUTS" by Sammy Rat Rios, and "Cloning Sheep" by Adrian Zhang.
This project aims to transcend traditional storytelling boundaries, offering a tapestry of narratives that delve into the richness and diversity of the Asian American experience. Through compelling characters, unique perspectives, and thought-provoking themes, the showcase seeks to captivate audiences while fostering a deeper understanding of the cultural nuances within the AANHPI community. If ticket prices are a barrier, please email [email protected] and we will work with you to ensure access to the performance.
