Writers Biographies

Pauline Rowe has worked in Merseyside for 20 years promoting poetry and creative writing in health and community settings. She is a Continuing Education tutor at Liverpool University. She has a PhD in creative writing and recent publications with Maytree Press. She is a Director of Liverpool Poetry Space.

A queer writer of odd things, Tania Hershman is the author of ten books of stories, poems and hybrids, most recently the hybrid creative-non-fiction book 'It's Time: A Chronomemoir' (Guillemot Press, 2025). Tania has a PhD in creative writing inspired by particle physics, and runs the Unbox Your Words writing workshops.

Since 2015 publication of her award-winning debut, The Girl Who Wouldn’t Die, Marnie Riches has become a bestselling contributor to crime fiction, selling hundreds of thousands of books internationally. She also writes historical romance as Maggie Campbell, teaches for the Royal Literary Fund and is CEO of arts policy think-tank, Culture Together.
