The World Premiere of That Abandoned Place - A Film By Gigi Hozimah

A new arthouse film, “That Abandoned Place” will have its world premiere in Philadelphia at the Landmark Ritz Five on November 4th, and the public is invited to join. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Feel free to dress up!

Written and directed by Gigi Hozimah, “That Abandoned Place” is an intimate portrayal of a woman dealing with mental health issues after a sucide attempt. Film Threat described this film as “filmic poetry.” UK Film Review calls it "a strong, emotional piece."

Gigi was recently featured in the Authority Magazine feature "Inspirational Women in Hollywood."

The premiere will include a Q&A with the director, and members of the cast & crew following the film.

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit theaters and independent filmmakers especially hard and this is a great way to support both—but do so safely by getting vaccinated if you’re eligible and wearing a mask indoors in accordance with the local guidelines and mandates.
