All counselors have studied from one or more textbooks authored by Dr. Gerald Corey. This is your opportunity to learn about counseling theories or counseling ethics from the author himself in real-time Zoom training sessions. These training sessions are appropriate for students enrolled in counselor training programs or experienced counselors who would like to earn continuing education hours for certification or licensure purposes.
Each training session will be held from 2:00 until 6:00 PM CST on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Participants will receive 3.5 continuing education hours that have been approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) for each session they attend.

Dr. Gerald Corey is Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans, Louisiana and Professor Emeritus of Human Services at California State University at Fullerton. He is the author or coauthor of 16 textbooks in counseling currently in print, along with more than 70 journal articles and numerous book chapters. His book, Theory and Practice of Counseling and Psychotherapy, has been translated into Arabic, Indonesian, Portuguese, Turkish, Korean, and Chinese. Theory and Practice of Group Counseling has been translated into Korean, Chinese, Spanish, and Russian.
