Come and join us for a free Tri suitable for all abilities and raise money for the Salvation Army food bank this Christmas.Splash your way along the 400m swim course at Maraetai beach, wobble your way along our 10km bike course and shuffle your way around the 2km run before finishing back at the start.
This is not a race. Your overall time will be recorded but not each leg. There will be a transition area to rack your bike but you are responsible for yourself on the day. There will be no aid stations on course.
Finish the course as a mad dash, or take your time and enjoy the scenery.
Please note: There are NO road closures. It is up to you to know the course and obey all road rules when on the bike. As such there are NO music devices allowed for this event.
Come and test out your equipment, practice the process or just get a taste for your first triathlon without all of the race day pressure.
ENTRY FEE
This event is being run to raise money for the Salvation Army over the Christmas period. Entry is free but you can also make an extra donation. We are also asking everyone to bring along non perishable items on the day.
