Join Us for The Windrush Heritage Community Family Day!
Bringing together culture, heritage, music, food, creativity, sport and community connection, the event has been designed as an inclusive day for all ages and backgrounds. Visitors can enjoy live music and entertainment, family activities, cultural performances, heritage exhibitions, community stalls, health and wellbeing engagement, children’s activities, arts and crafts, food vendors and a special cricket-themed activation supporting the charity’s “Bring Back Cricket” campaign aimed at inspiring the next generation of young people into the sport.
The day will celebrate the stories, resilience and achievements of the Windrush Generation whilst creating a welcoming space for communities to come together through positivity, learning and shared experience.
Hosted by the Windrush Generation Legacy Association Charity, the event is rooted in unity, education, inspiration and community empowerment, ensuring that the legacy of Windrush continues to be recognised, celebrated and passed on to future generations.
