The summer solstice is the time of maximum light, when the land around us revels in lush, colourful and fragrant splendour. This time is known in the druid tradition as Alban Hefin, the Light of Summer or the Light of the Shore.
As the Sun spirals its longest dance, The Windharp Grove would love you to join us for our annual Summer Solstice ritual and picnic. We will gather on the far side of the oval as we did last year to celebrate this lush time of the year.
BYO: Chairs, rugs, drinks, picnic, sunblock, hats, musical instruments and anything else you would take on a picnic.
Hot For Joe, Maypole and more ...
Music, singing, dance and lots of shenanigans.
Pack a picnic and wear your brightest clothes.
This will only be cancelled if the weather is extremely hot or wet.
