What happens when “therapy” becomes survival?THE WILDERNESS follows a group of troubled teenage boys taken deep into the Utah desert and forced into a brutal wilderness therapy program. As the line between rehabilitation and manipulation begins to blur, they must decide whether to endure the program—or escape it.
THE WILDERNESS was created to raise awareness about institutional harm and advocate for youth rights and constructive alternatives to institutionalization.
