This program revisits those works through contemporary arrangements that highlight their lyricism and emotional depth.The performance offers a preview of Prohorova’s upcoming album, scheduled for release in November 2026. The ensemble features some of Chicago’s leading jazz musicians: Millie Ahearn (trumpet), Aaron Shapiro (guitar), Kitt Lyles (bass), Jonathan Marks (drums), and Olya Prohorova (violin and vocals).
