About this Event
Looking for family fun the kids can keep coming back to?
Take part in The Wild Escape and join us for a wild and wonderful workshop the whole family can enjoy where we will be exploring the world of birds and creating amazing 2D paper creatures inspired by the feathered friends that flutter around us every day.
The final creations of your little ones (and you) will become a part of a digital exhibition, which will bring to life the art each family creates.
Using paper, paint, glue, and collage, we'll craft beautiful cut-out garden birds; think sparrows, magpies, blackbirds, robins, pigeons, and even parakeets. We'll teach you how to identify them all while unleashing your creativity.
At the end of the workshop, your child will have the option to take home their magnificent creations. Their work will also be displayed as part of a collaborative The Wild Escape artwork piece for Earth Day on 22 April, so get your kids ready to show off their art skills! This is a first-of-its kind project and we’d love to see as many awesome creations as possible.
This event is perfect for little ones aged 3-10 - children must be accompanied by an adult to participate.
So mark your calendars and plan a wild escape with the family to discover the wonderful world of birds!
