The Weight BandCarrying the torch of The Band’s legendary Woodstock sound, The Weight Band is led by guitarist/vocalist Jim Weider, who replaced Robbie Robertson in The Band and later played alongside Levon Helm. Formed in Helm’s famed Woodstock barn, the group delivers a joyful, roots-rock celebration of classic Americana.
Expect a high-energy mix of original songs and beloved favorites from The Band, plus tunes by Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers, and more—drawing from roadhouse rock, blues, country soul, swamp pop, and folk.
