We’re delighted to open the doors for the celebration of the Lau Andersson release, ‘The Weeping Siege’, on May 10th at Mayhem. For the this release, Lau Andersson - together with the music collective Scarpia - has invited musicians Ryong and Barbora Kovacova to take part in a performance where the participants all become a part of a sonic whole.
By exploring sound, presence, intimacy and togetherness through listening and improvisation, the constellation becomes an open musical space, and guest are welcomed to take part in the performance, either with their voice, with an instrument, or simply with their listening body being present.
