Bach, to the 20th-century variations of Hugo Distler, this program traces the enduring journey of hope and renewal across four centuries of music.Interwoven throughout are sacred works by Heinrich Schütz and Nicolaus Bruhns, whose expressive harmonies evoke both contemplation and joy—perfect for the Advent season.
