About 'The Voice of Hind Rajab': January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A 6-year old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab.
Please join Sutton Friends of Palestine for this essential film screening. Post-film reflections and discussion will follow the screening. Due to the heavy nature of the topic, the film is rated suitable for ages 15+ The film will start at 19:30PM
- Non-alcoholic refreshments including tea, coffee, GAZA Cola, meat/vegetarian savoury options and SFOP volunteers' homemade cakes available to purchase.
- The SFOP Merchandise Stall will be open too.
- We accept card & cash payments/donations.
- This event is fundraising for charity - TBA.
- There is some limited free parking at this accessible venue which also benefits from being a short walk from several bus routes.
- There is free parking on the roads after 6.30 and there is Sainsbury's Car Park near by (please checking timings). There is also paid parking at Gibson Rd and St Nicholas Centre. Thamoas Wall Centre is a 5 minute walk from Sutton High Street.
- This is an accessible venue.
