January theme is: Dynamics and Vocal Modes
About this Event
Once a month, singers from all genres, levels of experience, and backgrounds will meet to refine their craft and workshop whatever they're working on at the moment.
Stav German, a certified CVT teacher, will teach one element of vocal technique that applies to all singers and then guide them in individual work in front of the group.
These 2-hour meetings will help you refine your vocals, gain new insights, and join an encouraging and non-judgmental community.
January is dedicated to Dynamics and the Vocal Modes.
In the first hour and a half, we'll explore the four vocal modes and their dynamics. We will listen to audio examples, understand their anatomy, and explore plenty of tools and tricks to apply them to your voice.
In the last hour, singers are encouraged to bring their own phrases/ parts of songs they wish to work on with Stav in front of the group. Due to the time limit, not all will get to work individually, but all will learn from each other in an inclusive environment.
Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) has quickly become Europe's most well-known contemporary vocal method for its effectiveness, simplicity, and quick results.
