The VitalSpark "Motivation" Run & Campus Strategy Breakfast (NIRSA 2026)
Who is this for?: Campus recreation and wellness leaders focused on increasing student participation and solving the "Week 4 Fade".
Start the day with a relaxed 5K along the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, followed by a small-group strategy breakfast with peers working on the same challenges.
- The Run (Open to All): Join us for a casual 5K run or walk—no pace, no pressure. Along the trail, we’ll discuss a question many campuses wrestle with: Why do participation gains fade after the first few weeks?.
- The Breakfast (Limited to 13): After the run, we’ll host a discussion-based breakfast at the Silver Diner. We’ll compare notes on where participation breaks down and how to use behavioral science to improve retention, not just gym sign-ups.
