The Virtue Challenge Series (The Courage Crucible)
The Courage Crucible is a one-day charity trial designed to push you to your physical edge, so you can meet what shows up in your mind when things get hard. This isn’t about ego, PRs, or looking good. It’s about becoming the kind of person who stays present, keeps moving, and chooses courage when quitting feels easier.
We’re partnering with SAFEatx, and 100% of ticket sales are donated directly to SAFEatx.
The Workout (For Time)
80-minute time cap
If you have a weight vest, wear it.
- 800m Run
- 100 Plate Overhead Lunges (45/25lb)
- 800m Run
- 80 Burpees
- 800m Run
- 60 Single Arm DB/KB Thruster (50/35)
- 800m Run
- 400m Plate Overhead Walk (45/25)
The Purpose
This workout is built like a hero WOD: simple movements, big chunks, and the kind of fatigue that forces you to confront the voice in your head. The goal is to test your discipline, grit, and self-command, to practice courage as an action, not an idea.
100% Scalable (Everyone Can Do This)
The Crucible is designed to be brutal and accessible:
- You can scale the load, the movement variation, and the volume as needed.
- The standard is the same for everyone: don’t scale the intention.
Show up, do the work you’re capable of, and keep moving forward.
