Call Super
Call Super is the primary moniker of London-based DJ and musician Joseph Richmond Seaton (him / they). Defined by a meticulous approach to composition, production, and presentation, Call Super has carved out a singular space in electronic music — one where colour, shadow, and abstraction blur the genre’s familiar boundaries.
Across a series of acclaimed releases and collaborations, their work has earned widespread critical recognition, including Album of the Year honours from DJ Magazine for the 2017 album Arpo.
One of the key DJs that helped herald a renewed focus on the best of the UK’s turn-of-the-millennium techno and house sound, Call Super took a blueprint set out by expansive Detroit pioneers and updated it in their own enigmatic way. Their entry into the canonical Fabric mix series was named Mix of the Decade by Resident Advisor, capturing a precise, multifarious approach to DJing.
Known for hypnotic, narrative-driven sets with emotional depth and control, Call Super has appeared at institutions such as Panorama Bar, Sónar, and BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix, continuing to push forward on their own terms.
