We have Charlotte Coles coming to talk to us about The Victorian Way of Death. Charlottewill be taking us through the Victorian superstitions around death, mourning clothes, funeral
food, death photography, the controversial art of cremations, the necropolis railway and all
things connected to death and funerals in the Victorian period. This may not be for the
squeamish (!) but promises to be a really fascinating evening – do not miss it!
All these are talks are held at Wellington Prep School Hall, commencing at 7.30pm. members are £3 and non members £4.
