About this Event
Bridging divides through courage and respect
You are invited to a special screening of the acclaimed documentary The Very Narrow Bridge. The film, which shows how trust can be rebuilt across divides, is already being used as a teaching and dialogue resource across many community and educational settings.
The event, hosted by social justice leader Tim Costello, features a Q&A with Melbourne filmmaker and trauma psychologist Esther Takac. Together, we’ll explore what it means to transform loss into connection and find hope in shared humanity.
The Very Narrow Bridge follows Palestinians and Israelis who have lost loved ones in the conflict. Instead of turning to anger or hate, they transform their grief into courage and compassion – building bridges for reconciliation and social healing.
