The Velvet Playground: Dance for Desire, Intimacy, & Embodiment
A playful, judgment-free dance experience for exploring sensuality, confidence, and connection.
Welcome to The Velvet Playground—a monthly movement workshop where we explore the dance between desire, intimacy, and embodiment. Through guided movement and playful exploration, this class invites you to reconnect with your sensual self and discover new ways of expressing confidence, attraction, and connection through your body.
Each month features a different workshop theme centered around intimacy, desire, self-empowerment, and reclaiming sensuality through dance. We’ll explore slow, intentional movement, body awareness, and expressive dance practices designed to help you tune into what feels good, awaken your confidence, and deepen your relationship with your own desire.
This is a space where sensuality is celebrated, curiosity is welcomed, and there is no pressure to perform. Whether you’re exploring your sensual self, building confidence in your body, or learning new ways to express intimacy through movement, you’ll be supported in moving at your own comfort level.
Most workshops are designed for individual participants, focusing on personal embodiment and the experience of desire within your own body. On select months, we’ll host special partner workshops where couples or partners can explore intimate movement together—learning how dance can deepen connection, trust, and playful chemistry.
No dance experience is required—just bring your curiosity, your body, and a willingness to explore.

JUNE 27 and August 22 will be partner nights! These nights will include instruction on dancing for and with your partner with sensuality and intimacy. If you would like to include your partner, please purchase a ticket for each of you for these specific dates.
