The country has made meaningful progress in strengthening the country's democratic transition, establishing the foundations for economic growth, and charting a path toward European integration. Yet that progress remains fragile. Russian hybrid warfare, economic and political pressures, and the spillover effects of the war in neighboring Ukraine have tested Moldova’s resilience. Meeting these continued challenges will require sustained international support, including a strong partnership with the United States.
