The Upsilon Sigma 10 Year Celebration Dinner

Join us as we commemorate a decade of scholarship, service, and brotherhood at the 10‑Year Anniversary Celebration Dinner honoring the Upsilon Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Founded on August 5, 2015, through the dedicated efforts of the Xi Omicron Lambda Chapter, Upsilon Sigma was established to expand the Fraternity’s footprint in the Fort Myers region, specifically serving the students, faculty, and surrounding community of Florida Gulf Coast University. What began as a vision to strengthen Alpha’s presence on campus has grown into a decade of meaningful impact, leadership development, and community uplift.

Over the past ten years, the brothers of Upsilon Sigma have:

• Awarded nearly $10,000 in scholarships through the Miss Black & Gold Scholarship Pageant, supporting academic excellence and student achievement.
• Mentored youth across multiple middle schools in Lee County, providing guidance, leadership, and positive representation.
• Volunteered at the Lee County Juvenile Center, offering support and encouragement to young people navigating challenging circumstances.
• Partnered with Xi Omicron Lambda to serve the greater Fort Myers community through civic engagement, educational initiatives, and collaborative service projects.
