The Up en Down Bus (O Onibus do Sobe e Desce) is the first album of the Brazilian composer Gelson Oliveira, aimed at children.
With this CD released in 2014 and awarded ‘Best Children´s album 2015’, Gilson has realised an old dream of releasing part of a rich production of works made for children.
Each song of the Up en Down Bus program tells a story, a situation experienced by one or more children, with a variety of thytms such as Rancheira, Funk, Ballad, Frevo and Folk.
Gelson Oliveira has had a career spanning 45 years and has won the main prizes not only in his state Rio Grande do Sul, in the far south of Brazil but also in other states of this huge country.
