The Concert Band & Soldiers' Chorus are the oldest and largest ensembles of The U.S. Army Field Band, founded in 1946 and 1957, respectively. They have performed in all 50 states and in 30 countries before hundreds of millions of people. The 60-member Concert Band and 29-member Soldiers' Chorus showcase a wide range of musical styles, from classical to opera, jazz and Broadway. They frequently perform in renowned concert halls as well as in small community venues, and have shared stages with major orchestras such as the Boston Pops and the National Symphony Orchestra. Beyond touring, they participate in formal ceremonies, including presidential inaugurations and diplomatic events, representing the Army with pride and versatility. Through performances across the United States, they foster a positive relationship with communities and inspire future generations to serve.Admission to this performance is free. However, first-access passes are required.
