About this Event

Unico began in a small office in the Spring of 1985 with an idea and a couple of employees. Unico, Inc. is now considered the leader in Small Duct High Velocity (SDHV) heating and cooling systems.

Today, Unico, Inc. has grown to include two manufacturing facilities with over 150,000 square feet of manufacturing and storage space with distribution and sales in North America, Europe, Africa, Central and South America, India, and China.

David Stuart is President of Unico, Inc., a St. Louis-based manufacturer of HVAC equipment. Unico is the market leader of Small Duct High Velocity systems, delivering comfort solutions through a vast network of distribution outlets throughout North American and 15 countries worldwide.

Prior to joining Unico in 2023, Mr. Stuart was President of Creative Energy Solutions, providing consulting services focused on corporate development, growth strategies, strategic partnerships, value-added solutions, and organizational enhancements. He previously spent eight years with Select Water Solutions (NYSE: WTTR) as Senior Vice President of Corporate and Strategic Development, where he led technical teams, developed growth strategies, and executed multiple internal and external strategic initiatives to position Select as a leading completions services and specialty chemical provider in the Oil & Gas industry. Mr. Stuart also held various other leadership positions throughout his time at Select including Vice President – Fluids Conditioning and Vice President – Operations.

Prior to joining Select, Mr. Stuart served as Vice President and General Manager of Mpact Downhole Motors, a drilling tool manufacturing and rental business he co-founded in 2008. Earlier, he spent over 20 years in various management and leadership roles for several major Oil and Gas equipment manufacturing companies, providing sales leadership and operational support to both internal and external customers for worldwide drilling, completions, production, artificial lift and well intervention services applications. He began his career as a Field Service Engineer with Schlumberger.
