⛓️THE UNDERGROUND LOCK UP,HEREFORD ⛓️
The building was originally Hereford City Gaol and opened in 1841, the Gaol was used up until 1877 and housed 250-300 inmates per year.
It was also a House of Correction, Magistrates Court, Police Station, Fire Station and a Civil Defence Bunker
We have access to the basement area underneath this building , this a fairly good sized area of unused rooms with a cluster of original prison cells , also the original closed off staircase going up to the Courts, the area has been adapted over the years to suit several different uses , however you can still see the rooms that were originally other prison cells.
You will only have access to the basement area , not the offices and rooms above.

The area is rumoured to be haunted with reports of uneasy feelings and unexplained noises , only a couple of paranormal investigations have ever been held here so this is an exciting and rare opportunity.
