About this Event
Theme: Bad addictions
Join us for an unforgettable night where masks come off and raw truths are laid bare. We invite singers, poets, storytellers, and anyone brave enough to face their own demons, to share their unfiltered confessions about addiction: not just substances, but the hidden wounds we nurse in silence: stress, grief, rage, and the confusing, lonely feelings we all try desperately to escape.
This evening marks the official launch of The Devil’s Underground , a haunting, borderline-real novel by Yashika Vahi that exposes the terrifying hallucinations and inner chaos experienced by four students trapped in a basement apartment in Waterloo (names of people and towns have been changed).
After the launch, the mic opens to YOU. This is your moment to be seen, heard, and understood. To connect with others who know the unbearable weight of these hidden battles. To turn pain into art, isolation into community.
Because in this dark, fractured world, we all crave one thing: to be less alone.
