At BATS we value improv that doesn’t go for the laugh. At the same time, by focusing on the narrative and being in the moment, we are often funny, without consciously trying. Comedy holds a strange value for us. We love to laugh and love to play with and watch people who make us laugh. And we love to make others laugh. We also judge ourselves and others when it seems we’re just going for a joke. Additionally, as we’ve been improvising, all of this laughter has been unconsciously training us to be a comedian. In this class, we will explore having a friendlier relationship with our inner comedian.
We have community standards, a conflict process, and a COVID prevention policy in place. Agreement/acceptance of these policies is required to participate in BATS classes. BATS Improv Class Refund Policy
All class sales are final. In the event we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, we’ll refund your tuition in full.
