Join other singles from across Chicagoland for an unforgettable evening of laughter, music, and new connections as we cruise from the stunning Chicago River into the open beauty of Lake Michigan.

1. What’s the age range?
We welcome singles ages 25 to 50+. Most of our guests fall in their 30s and early 40s—young at heart, emotionally available, and looking to connect with intention.
2. How do you know people are really single?
We don’t do lie detector tests or background checks—but we do ask everyone to sign up in good faith. If you’re here, we expect honesty and respect for others looking for genuine connections. And we are Latino, so el chisme corre. IYKYK.
3. Is this a matchmaking event?
Media Naranja is not matchmaking — we only set the stage, we help spark connections through fun games, guided mingling, and intentional moments. You might meet someone new, or at least leave with great stories.
4. Is this for thirsty or desperate people?
Nope. This is for people who are open to date, fun, and possibilities—not chasing anyone, just showing up with curiosity. Confidence > desperation.
5. I want to go, but not by myself.
We actually encourage solo arrivals.We love that! Our event ambassadors will welcome you—and we may even have a surprise for brave solo arrivals.
6. Am I too old for this?
Not at all. If you're kind, playful, and open to meeting people, you're the right age. Period.
7. What if nobody likes me? What if I don’t get a match or feel rejected?
This isn’t high school. Not every convo turns into a spark, and that’s okay. You're still worthy of fun, joy, and good company. Come for connection—not just romance. You'll leave with at least a good story.
8. Do I need to speak English and/or Spanish?
Nope! You don’t have to be bilingual. Just be open to communicating in whatever way works—smiles, gestures, Spanglish… all welcome.
9. Do I have to be Latino/a/x to attend?
No. We celebrate and welcome all backgrounds. We center Latinx vibes and culture—but love comes in all shades, rhythms, and languages.
10. Do I have to participate in the games and activities?
We’d love for you to join in—they’re designed to make meeting people easier and less awkward. But if you’d rather hang back and vibe, that’s totally okay too.
